I've been spotty at best with my blog posting. It's about to get real y'all. This summer is filled with swim team for Annie new adventures for the little girls, Jonas getting ready for football in the fall and me teaching summer school...and training for my first full marathon in December!
Not sure if I'll stick to my old post schedule, but I'm back on the wagon, so to speak. It's all gonna be here!!!
Today's lissy's actual birthday, so I'll be sure to give you a recap of that! Can't believe baby #3 is 2!!!

Quick Question
I have a quick and easy question...
Please comment to give me your answer.
Recently, I shared my birth day stories for all 4 of my kids, that's 4 stories, with a friend of mine. Would any of my readers be interested in reading these stories? I know there have to be a lot of questions out there and I feel like a lot of them don't get answered because people gloss over things.
So, birth stories? Yes, I'll post each one. No, I'll not post them right away... No answer means I have to decide for myself and obviously, if I am asking, I'm torn!
thanks all!

Want to run?
Many of you know and some of you may not, but my dad is a prostate cancer survivor. Many of you also know, I do NOT call myself a runner.
Several years ago, my dad underwent surgery to remove the cancer and has remained cancer free since then.
Here in Memphis, there is a run coming up to support the research and work being done to cure this disease affecting millions of men each year.
If you are interested in participating, this year's run will start at the Botanic Gardens at 7:30am on April 27. You can register here. If you'd rather just give to the cause, the website found here, has lots of great information! The event is sponsored by the Conrad Pearson Clinic and is part of a national event.
Obviously, I think this is an important cause, if you do too, or you just want another half marathon in before summer, please join us!

Life has been very busy
I need to start with an apology for having abandoned the blog for the last few weeks!
So much has happened, I am excited to share with you all of the new goings on at our house...In no particular order, here goes nothing!
First, Dilly has TEETH! She has gotten her first two teeth peeking through, both are on the bottom and both are RAZOR sharp! We've begun introducing her to solid foods and so far a few favorites include; avacado, scrambled eggs, cheese, strawberries and rice chex. She really loves playing with Lissy Jane and working so hard at being able to do what Lissy does!
Second, well, I hate to admit it, but we are taking a break from potty training. It's just been so stressful! UGH! Lissy is definitely moving in a good direction and is interested in the goings on in the bathroom, but she is just not communicative enough for this to stick right now.
Third, for those of you who are not Memphians, this is going to sound crazy....but we just got done with our 5 days camp out to get Annie into White Station Middle School's Optional Program. The camp out started on Thursday at 830am when one of the moms started the line! Earliest one yet! Geez... We ended up having fun as a family at the camp out. Food trucks from Fuel, Mark's Grill, Square Meal on Wheels, Central BBQ and the Tamale Trolley all showed up at different points. The kids played on the lawn of the Board of Education and we made a ton of great new friends. Overall, not a bad weekend.
Fourth, not sure who knows, but I am now teaching at White Station High School! I am very ecited to have returned to the school where I went to high school and taught last year. It is a great excitement to be back and I have been blessed with an amazing roster. Literally, every class has an amazing community feel and is quite dynamic. Here's a couple pictures of my classroom.
So, all in all, there has been a lot going on! Hopefully, I can get back on track with all the things that you all like to see. Keep cheering us on, it's great to hear from you all about all the goings on in our little cozy house!

New food Friday
Today, while in Walgreens looking for a snack I happened upon the kettle corn section. I have been a fan of kettle corn for a while now. In fact, my entire family is highly addicted to the kettle corn sold at our local Costco from the Angie's corn brand. It comes in a large yellow bag and is truly delectable.
But, Walgreens did not have such a brand. So I was required to try something new. I opted for the kettle corn brand and the cinnamon sugar flavor it's definitely a different flavor. Not one I dislike, but not what I was expecting. I really enjoyed the sweetness of the sugar. It reminded several teachers of the children's cereal Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but better. I don't know how often I will seek it out. But, I do recommend giving it a try.
While at Walgreens I noticed that pellegrino water was on sale. Since I have never actually had it before, I decided to go ahead and give it a try as well. I drank it several times throughout the day and while I don't know if it will ever be the first choice I make over something else, it definitely was not bad.
All in all, tasty new treats.
